The Kanes visit Disney World

Please sit back and grab a soda...there are a few picture here and they are all out of order....The Kane family....Meme and Grandad; Sean, myself and the kids; Shannon and Steve and their two boys; and Casey and Kari all took a trip to Orlando from June 11-17th. It was the first flight for Brady and Finley and they did fantastic...Finley had a minor meltdown on the way back, she wanted to get down during descent and that was a no-no and she let me know how mad she was at me...The kids in general couldnt have been better for their age, the heat, the crouds and walking their little legs off!!! We went to all 4 parks and hit the Magic Kingdom twice. We rented a 5 bedroom home 10 minutes from the parks and it was fabulous, Sean and I are already itching to go back as is Braden, who wants to ride the "log ride" again...for those of you who are familiar, thats Splash Mountain...if anyone is going to Disney, or anywhere for that matter and you have a infant/toddler and a 3-5 year old, look into the Joovy Caboose stroller....BEST THING EVER!!!!

How does your garden grow??

Sean and I took on the daunting task of planting a garden this year. We have planted jalapenos, yellow sweet peppers, tomatoes, romas, peas, beans, cucs, yellow squash, zucchini and beans....this is an early picture of the garden

Tonight (6/24) we picked our first "crop" of beans and ate them for dinner...we are so proud of ourselves. I need to take a new pic of the garden, the yellow squash are taking over the place...and we don't like squash that much!!

The First Day at the Pool

So we hit the pool for the first day the weekend of June 1st....and let me just tell you it was freezing. We knew it was bad when a grounds crew guy came around in jeans and a sweatshirt...overcast, cold and windy....the kids, bless their hearts, loved it even with their purple lips!!

TBall

First of all my apologies for duplicate pics of Brady batting...Secondly, I apologize to my parents for putting them through 4 year old TBall....its coming back to me in spades...FUN and NEAT to watch your child learn, however not all children are on the same page...

Technical Difficulties

This is a practice run...old picture, January in fact, I am just trying to figure out why it takes FOREVER to log on and sometimes wont let me upload pictures....I have lots to share, first day of the pool, first tball game, summer vacation, etc....check back and see!!
