To cut or not to cut

So Miss Fin's hair is getting SHAGGY....long bangs, long back...but not much throughout. She also has 2 cowlicks in the back that go in reverse directions, so her hair comes straight down the middle. Should we cut it????
We constantly use bows or barettes to hold her bangs to the sides and she barely tolerates ponytails....I love the length, but wonder if she looks unkempt???

Squash, Zucchini or Cucumber???

This was growing in the YELLOW squash plant. It is huge and green...so we arent sure exactly what it is...needless to say we will not eat it....its HUGE!

Our little mouseketeers...funny story Finley wanted to wear her "ears" on our trip to check out the new Super Walmart....luckily it was early Sat. Morning and not too many people were there.....cutie!!

Our Weekend

The Ice Cream Man drives by our house daily....we desperately try to ignore the signature music. Friday, however, we couldn't say no...we were in the driveway when he drove by. Braden chose a Spiderman bar and we chose an ice cream sandwich for Finley. After snacking on their own, they traded.....such nice siblings.

Teaching the New Kids Old School

Sean and I were entertaining our friends Lara and Fletcher's children a few days back. Fleet is 8 (i think??) and Grace is 4. Lets just say our childrens toys were a little "been there done that". So I busted out the Old Nintendo ES....yes they played Super Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers 2. Needless to say I was no help....

Swim Lessons

Braden took swim lessons for 3 weeks in June. He missed the first week due to our trip in Disney....but by the last day of his "first" week he was swimming!!! Sean and I are so proud of him....he will jump in on his own, swim about 4 feet to you, and LOVES to go down for diving sticks....THANKS TO KRISTIN!!

Mac and Cheese

Finley is starting to only eat if she can feed herself!! Here is her attempt at mac and cheese. She tried both spoons, but decided that the shovel method worked more efficiently!

The Garden is ALIVE

Ok so YES I am proud of myself...here is our garden in the beginning of June. The far corner plants are yellow squash and the close corner plants are cucumbers. The beans are the bright green and a tomato plant is past the beans....

Here is our garden the last day of June....the cucumbers and yellow squash are totally covering the tomato plant and the beans....there are a million cucumber starts on that plant...anyone know a good pickle recipe?
