We have been on the hunt for a puppy since July. We put our name in at a breeder in Oneida and our Puppy was ready to come home this weekend. We tried to keep it a secret from the kids as best we could....Braden knew it was coming, just thought it was Sunday...Fin just knew it was coming at some point. We scooted over to Oneida on Saturday to pick him up. He will be 8 weeks on Wednesday. He is a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd....his name is "Jack" (for Jack Reacher -- Sean's favorite Literary character and Jack Sparrow -- Braden's choice for a name....so we met in the middle on Jack).
So far, so good....I feel bad for the little guy...i think he misses his litter mates (we took him from 4 other buddies)

Oh, he is just so cute and cuddly! Looks like he's getting a lot of love from his new family! Hope the potty training is going well. I remember thinking I should have bought stock in paper towels and Febreeze when we first got our dog! :) It's all worth it, though!
