I know we don't live in WI or MI, however for the past few days it certainly has felt like it. On Wednesday there was enough snow...6 inches...to call off school. Snow day number 1. Thursday there was blowing snow and it was -18 or so in the a.m.....school was called for that day as well. Snow day number 2. Friday, our school district had already a scheduled day off for institute....obviously Sat and Sun are no school and Monday is MLK day......so all in all the kids are off for 6 days. Rewind back to Thursday...it is soooo cold that you can't go outside....so by noon on Thursday we had cabin fever....here is a peek at some of our snow day adventures....

It takes creativity to survive snowdays! Ellie was off a day last week and had late starts the other four days because of the temperature and snow. We didn't leave the house when it was 50 below windchill!
Hope it's warmed for you now...we are enjoying the 20's this week!
